A Colonel Thanks the Carlsbourg Christian Brothers for their hospitality

Christian Brothers fed many hungry people during the Franco-Prussian War, often giving up their own supplies of food to help those in need.  This engraving shows a French colonel thanking Belgian Christian Brothers for their hospitality when they fled to Belgium after losing the Battle of Sedan in September 1870.
